Terms of Service

1. The service

WorldAPI provides programmatic access to third-party large language models through an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Models are served from our own accounts on Google Cloud (Vertex AI) and Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock). We do not train models.

2. Accounts and API keys

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
• You are responsible for every request made with your API keys. Keep them secret; rotate them immediately if you suspect exposure.
• One person or legal entity per account. Reselling access to the API under your own key is not permitted without written consent.

3. Prepaid usage packs and metering

• The service is prepaid. You buy a usage pack in USD; the amount paid is credited to your account and usage is deducted per request at the rates published on the rate card at the time of the request.
• The rate card shows the provider's official price and our price for every model.
• Packs do not expire. Balances are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash except as described in the Refund Policy.
• We may change prices with notice on the rate card; changes never apply retroactively.

4. Acceptable use

Use of the API is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms, and to the usage policies of each model's provider. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate them.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is". Upstream providers may reject, rate-limit or delay requests; failed requests are not charged.

6. Data

We store request and response content and metadata about each request (model, token counts, status, latency, timestamps) to operate, bill, secure and improve the service. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach of these Terms. Unused balance on a lawfully terminated account is handled per the Refund Policy.
